THE CONVERSION OF A PALLADIAN STYLE ORANGERIE INTO THE JEWEL IN THE CROWN OF PENICUIK ESTATE
Once the orangerie to Penicuik House, this beautiful Palladian style building was built in 1714 and remains one of the most important and beautiful features on the estate. Set in 1.5 hectare, Arcadian walled garden, our goal was to create an interior that would honour the buildings heritage, inspired by the palette of surrounding landscape. Fantoush worked with architects Sutherland, Hussey, Harris and contractor, Wells Construction, providing a complete interior design service from start to completion.
