A NEW CLUBHOUSE STEEPED IN ARGENTINE CRAFT IN RURAL BERKSHIRE, ENGLAND

A new build project Fantoush partnered with a fantastic team to create this very special club house and training gym for one of the UK’s leading Polo Clubs. Working with esteemed architect Julian Bicknell and Morse Webb, we were involved throughout the design and build of the project. Polo is hugely popular in Argentina and so many of the team that run the club are Argentinian. Our concept for the club married two very different narratives, the classic English Gentleman’s Club with Argentinian Estancia. We combined classic British interior design with Argentinian crafts, fabrics, metalwork and saddlery to honour this unique relationship. The design included 13 metres of bookshelf joinery and a marble inlaid oak bar, all designed in house at Fantoush.
