REDEVELOPMENT OF THE HISTORIC PENICUIK ESTATE

As part of the redevelopment of the historic Penicuik Estate on the outskirts of Edinburgh, we were tasked with the reimagining of 5 properties in partnership with SuHuHa architects, set on one of the most important designed landscapes of the 18th Century.

Featuring four double bedrooms, Stable Park is the largest of the five Penicuik Estate properties designed by Fantoush. The kitchen and dining room were opened up to create a generous entertaining space, while new openings bring new light and energy. Using our eclectic signature house style, we used bold patterns and fabrics with global influences to create a new persona for Stable Park. A classic and very comfortable country home with layers of the unexpected, the rooms are colourful but restful, bringing warmth to a previous cold building... even through the long Scottish winters.
