⬩ THE PROJECT ⬩
AN ECLECTIC RE-IMAGINING OF A FADED RECTORY IN CUMBRIA
Set in the beautiful Cumbrian hills, The Rectory in Slaggyford was a gem waiting to be polished. Working with Dave Burgeon of Richard Amos Architects, the property was extended with a beautiful timber conservatory while the old dining room and sitting room were knocked through to create a generous living space for this 6 bedroom holiday home. The attic was converted into a usable space complete with sitting area and bathroom. Our client gave us a free rein on the design so we gave each room its own personality and colour palette to give each guest a unique experience. Fantoush sourced all of the artwork which reflected our eclectic style, combining antique works with contemporary abstract art, sculpture and ceramics.
